Abencs is active in the emerging U.S. solar power industry. Initially Abencs is providing engineering and construction support services to Abengoa Solar (formerly Solucar), a U.S. based Abengoa affiliate that is involved in developing large solar power generating facilities.

Commercial scale concentrated solar power facilities fit well into the decades of cogeneration experience which the Abencs engineering team possesses. Abencs is interested in partnering with third party clients to provide EPC services for U.S. solar power projects.
